The party moves across Tellius, forming allies with other countries to free Crimea from Daein's captivity. The mercenary Ike and his friends help Crimea to restore its heir, Princess Elincia, to the throne.
The game starts when the Beorc nation of Daein conquers the kingdom of Crimea, its neighbours. The story takes place on an imaginary continent of Tellius, populated by the humanoid Beorc and the shape-shifting Laguz. The gameplay revolves around characters positioned on a battlefield to defeat the opposite force. It's the ninth title in the fire emblem game series. It is a tactical role-playing video game released in 2005 by Nintendo for the GameCube home console.
